If mitral stenosis and regurgitation have already developed and are secondary to rhd, there is no way to reverse it, rather you should focus on how it doesn't progress further and don't lead to any complications. Long term treatment is needed, probably life long. If anybody claims to reverse it with medicines, he is lying and misleading you. Please start giving some attention towards your lifestyle. For hypertensive patients alcohol is not good. You will have to dedicate time towards daily exercise, yoga etc. Try to consume healthy diet, avoid oily, fried stuff. Deep breathing exercises also help in calming the body. Which will help reducing the blood pressure.

Have you asked your doctor about what does hypochondriasis mean. It is diagnosed when person has a significant fear of developing an illness or keeps on having a doubt of having a major illness despite all normal tests.
