All the problems that you have mentioned are the side effects of the medicine etilaam pro. Irritability, headache, upset bowel all are the after effects of this. Talk to your doctor who has prescribed you this medicine. Don't stop it suddenly. Or ask him to reduce its dose. You need to understand that, these medicines are not good in the long run. I would suggest you to take counseling too along with the medicine. It will really help you out from your anxiety.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. However, there is no mention of certain critical values like TSH, Testosterone, Prolactin. Since you have mentioned about having (or had) prolactinoma, but there is no mention about any medication for that or any surgery.
One more important aspect is your grade 2 obesity with a BMI of 36.35 kgs/Sq meter (ideal body weight 67 to 68 kgs). Which suggests an excess of 37 to 38 kgs. Therefore, unless all the details are clearly state...more

Actually, answer to your question is very difficult. You see, the people in drug development check many interaction of the drug with other substances; but, I seriously doubt they check interaction with lassi/buttermilk. As this is unknown, would suggest you to take the medicine with water, and savor the lassi/buttermilk later.

Hi lybrate-user!
I understand how this whole situation can be frustrating for you. I'm wondering if it would be in your best interest to seek emotional support at this point and follow up with your psychiatrist. Medications are essential in the control of symptoms and are of absolute importance. However, long standing depression may require therapy to work through it. Your therapist would help you to bring the thoughts and emotions triggering the depression, to your awareness and help you pr...more
