This habit is called bruxism. Habit of grinding teeth or clenching their jaw under stress. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. This is called as teeth grinding and this can cause serious problems. Wearing night guard at sleeping time is the only way to prevent its effect on the teeth along with some lifestyle changes. You should visit a dentist at the earliest and get custom night guards made.

You can see an orthodontist or prosthodontist for your problem. Usually a simple night guard appliance given by your dentist is all that you need to relieve your concern. But further examination is advisable regarding the cause of your teeth grinding (bruxism)
