Hello. Definitely it can be removed. However the mode of removal has to be decided on the size, position and the depth of the tattoo, for which I would like you to get it examined first. It can be removed by either, Excision or laser therapy etc, all which has their own pros and cons. These you can discuss accordingly.

Hi lybrate-user
Tattoo's are permanent as the ink used for making them is impregnated slightly deep under the skin. No balms can help treat tattoos. The only proven therapy is Surgery or Laser. Lasers have a drawback that you need multiple sittings and it works on specific colours only, not on all. Also, lasers can cause burns, if not used properly.
Surgery is the safest option for tattoo removal. Please consult a Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon for best results.

Hi
Permanent tattoo can be removed by Lasers. Multiple sessions are needed approx 6-8 sessions. Sometimes the water mark of tattoo may be staying back. In rare cases or multicolored tattoo it can be resisting laser treatment. Some instances a small tattoo can be surgically removed. Please note only if it's a very small one.
