I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
It is not clear exactly what causes skin tags, but it may happen when clusters of collagen and blood vessels become trapped inside thicker pieces of skin. As they are more common in skin creases or folds, they may be mainly caused by skin rubbing against skin.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

I have a skin tag near anus, and near it a small conical lump, which does not pain or cause discharge. Neither it's size increases. But probably it shrinks when area is dry and again get back to normal, if area is wet. It's not piles, medically confirmed, and because I only get pain while pressing it and itching when press, it's been doubted that it's an blind abscess. Or fistula. I don't think fistula because I am on constipated condition from 4 years, and I get no discharge. Maybe also because I have no abscess inside, because I can't feel it (never taken any medicines). It maybe an blind abscess, if it is an tumour perhaps than it should grow, but it is not growing from at least 4 years, I know. Neither causing discharge. Please tell me, in pictures, I can't see anything other than skin tag I have, no evidence of that lump. What should I do? Is it really really safe to ignore a lump, which is not causing discharge or grow or anything. But pressing feels pain and itchiness. I am usually constipated.

Dear lybrate-user
the anal verge skin is dark in lolor as it has a thick musculature. The bump may be a thickened skin or may be a temporarily dilated blood vessel under the skin.
There is a possibility of a tag as well. You may visit your gynae doc and let her examine you once.
Ayurveda has very good solution for digestive issues and should you need any assistance, pl let me know in a private chat.
Hope your query is resolved.

So, I have a skin tag on anus, and near it a lump. And in the same place (maybe almost) there is an another small lump inside. Both cause pain while pressing and too much itchiness. I thought, it is an abscess and took medicines under doctor's advice but it doesn't work. They are not growing from many years and they never cause any discharge. If I consider, that the inside one is an abscess and external one is fistula. Why it never causes discharge? Definitely not pus or anything. I am on no treatment from 5 years. If they are piles, why they're not growing or causing thrombosis. Because I never feel they're disturbing my life. Please help, if it is an case of abscess and fistula. Is it really possible that an untreated fistula cause no discharge from years? Could it be associated to the skin tag? Are those lumps/bumps are part of it. But it causes itching by touch, pain and sharp pains sometimes.

Skin tags are pretty common in people and there has been no specific underlying causes for it. Skin tags can be cosmetically disturbing, hence its removal if required can be done surgically as it is a short process or Laser Ablation is also an alternative. This is an OPD procedure and will be donein under 20 mins depending on the number of tags. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a like/ thanks. Thank you.
