Hello! can transverse colon ptosis (colon is down under the belly button) and cecum located lower than its supposed to cause daily pain with occasional (1/week) sharp pain attacks in one specific belly area (few cm to the right of the belly button) for 2 years? 3 colonoscopies, 3 ct scans, 1 mri - all clean, calprotectin negative, blood tests are fine, no blood, no fever, no diarrhea, only bit of mucus in stool. If its the transverse colon ptosis issue, does surgery to reduce colon and pull it up help? Is it done anywhere? Spasmolitycs & painkillers don't really help. My life is basically on pause for 2 years because I am in a constant pain, can't sit long in same position, I can't even walk fast not talking about doing sports of any kind. Thank you for your response in advance, kind regards.

I am a 29 year old male and for the past 12 months ive suffered with left side upper middle and lower abdominal discomfort the discomfort comes and goes. I have a tingling sensation in my lower abdomen. It doesn't hurt, it just feels kind of funny. It's that feeling you get when your foot falls asleep. Should I be concerned? But this sensation only happens every so often and only lasts for a few seconds at a time. Ive had blood, urine, stool samples done and they’ve all come back normal ive had a rectal exam and that was normal ive had 2 different doctors exam my abdomen and they both said it all feels completely normal ive had an ultrasound that showed I have a fatty liver and gallstones but everything else was normal ive also had a throat endoscopy and that came back completely normal. When I eat food I need to use the bathroom normally right after and my stool is normally very loose and lots of undigested food and sometimes im constipated I am a none smoker or drinker of alcohol my sister and father both suffer with ibs there is no family history of bowel cancer in my family. Any help is truly appreciated.

It's normal to feel your pulse in your stomach. What you're picking up on is your pulse in your abdominal aorta. The aorta is the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body. It runs from your heart, down the center of your chest, and into your abdomen.
