Tpha test is life long positive but vdrl slowly become negative
if you have taken full treatment of inj. La penidura ,then nothing to worry if no new exposure occured.

Please note that vdrl test becomes negative after successful treatmentwhile tpha can remain positive.
Hence vdrl was used as screening test.
Even vdrl may take 1 to 2 years in becoming negative.
