Breast cancer as the name suggests is cancer that starts in breast. It generally starts with a small lump in the breast. If not treated on time can progress to involve the whole breast and may even spread to other parts of body.
No specific cause but increase exposure to hormones, not breastfeeding children, having late children, postmenopausal hormone therapy, obesity etc are some of the known risk factors.

Dear sir cancer is an abnormal over growth of cells causing formation of lumps, ulceration, abnormal bleeding from Anywhere, prolonged fever, weakness, cough, difficulty in swallowing, change in bowelor bladder habits, throat pain, difficulty in breathing etc depending on the organ effected. Any thing new you notice in your body, must show to doctor.

It depends on what symptoms do you have.
It is less likely the cancer does not deteriorate for 4 years.
So it is less likely to be cancer.

Falling of hair is not the symptom of cancer. It can be caused by some chemotherapy drugs, which is also temporary. Cancer can present as lump, ulceration, abnormal bleeding from anywhere, weight loss, abnormal bleeding or periods etc it depends on area effected. As a female you should go for monthly self breast examination five days after the periods are over and be aware of any abnormal symptoms which is not going after routine medication then you must consult your doctor.

High amounts of ca-125 in the blood (generally more than 35 units per ml) could be a sign of ovarian cancer. If someone has symptoms related to ovarian cancer, such as bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, the test can be one of the first steps to check for the disease.

Have you been operated for the breast cancer or on neoadjuvant chemotherapy for the same. If not, please show to a Breast Surgeon or a Surgical oncologist. They will examine you and ask for a mammogram and ultrasound with core biopsy. The core Biopsy gives the type of cancer, the grade of cancer and the IHC i.e. ER/ PR/Her 2 status. If large tumor or locally advanced cancer, they may ask for metastatic work up like PET CT scan or CECT Scan.
