The liver, however, is able to replace damaged tissue with new cells. If up to 50 to 60 percent of the liver cells may be killed within three to four days in an extreme case like a tylenol overdose, the liver will repair completely after 30 days if no complications arise.

Symptoms of hepatitis b
1. Most patient are asymptomatic and hepatitis b is detected on routine screening of blood prior to blood transfusion.
2. In some the initial symptoms are like hepatitis a,
a) fever, loss of appetite, nausea
b) vomiting, diarrhoea, yellow coloration of urine and conjunctiva (white of eye)

There are many reasons for swelling occurring in feet, legs and in abdomen. Please tell me if you have any of the problems like hypertension (high bp), liver disease, hypothyroidism or any cardiac or kidney disease, because any of these conditions can give rise to the swelling.
