Madam the information given is very general. So it does not give any idea about blood glucose levels & HbA1c% as well as current treatment. Also there is no information on weight, height and extent of daily exercise being done. Plus information regarding BP readings, serum creatinine & urea level and lipid profile is also needed.
Then present dietary pattern is also required to give any suggestions or other guidelines. Thanks.

Yes you should avoid regular painkillers as in the long run they cause kidney damage and fluid retention.
So you should take it sos (as and when needed) and should avoid regular intake.
Besides it is better to treat the cause of pain rather than painkillers.
