Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism.
1. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar.
2. Up the protein - Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products and legumes.
3. Get fat - Fat is your friend and chol...more

Hi,
Homoepathy will work wonders for you since you are at an early stage of the disease and are young. If you start with allopathic medication for this, it will be a life long affair. However, with homeopathy you will be treated effectively, without long term side effects and will also be able to stop the treatment once the desired results is achieved.
I would strongly recommend that you go in for Homeopathic treatment for your problem.
If you would like to do the same, pls get in to...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Please let me know whether you are treatment for hypothyroidism? If yes what is the dosage and what was the TSH level when initially disease was diagnosed? If you are on treatment then TSh should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L to be free from all the symptoms. If not on any treatment, then TSH 7.2 mU/L is considered as subclinical hypthyroidism and no treatment is advocated. The various symptoms are fairly non specific. Thanks.
