Fasting glucose 93 mg is normal. However, 190 mg after food is high. It is shows pre-diabetic stage. Once if glucose after food crosses 200 mg, it is confirmed diabetes. Blood glucose can only acertained by examining the same. At home one can check it with a glucometer or in a near by clinical lab. The symptoms of high blood glucose include excess urination, more hunger, and excess eating, unexplained tiredness and weight loss. But these are not absolutely specific. One needs to get blood glucose (fasting and PP) checked plus also HbA1c %.Thanks.
