I have a terrible irritating sensation in my private part and it's reddish black in colour. I workout heavily, is problem due to sweat. I started applying candid (powder) which stopped the final growth but didn't cure the already existing part. I started applying itch guard and it's paining more. Please suggest some remedies.

Since 14 days I hav been smelling some metallic type pungent smell in my body sweat, in perfumes and in my clothes. Is this serious.

General Physician, Ooty
Your sweat can smell based on recent diet changes ie if you have added or removed something from your diet recently or even a change in a regular use cosmetic product or soap or perfume. Sometimes it can also be because of dehydration. If the smell is unbearable and affects your day to day life, I would suggest for you to meet with a dermatologist. In the meantime antiperspirants and body sprays can be used as a temporary fix but tests will have to be run by a hospital to identify any abnormality in sweat hence causing the pungent odour.
