Itone should not be used. Please consult the doctor who did your laser- they will prescribe you suitable eye drops to comfort the irritation.

I am 18 years old. My right eye and left eye powers are -7.25 and -6.50 respectively. I wear specs from very childhood. For last 1 and half year, power is changing very slightly between 0.25 to 0.5. I have gone through pre test for lasik surgery few days before and found that the cornea is fit for surgery. Pl give me expert opinion whether I need to wait for some more years or go for lasik.

U can wait as after 21 yrs increase of power is very less or it's stable,,so if u wants to wear glasses or ur comfort with this then u can wait,, otherwise u can do it

It may range from 28k for microkeratome lasik to 70k for Bladeless lasik

As you are having cylindrical Number and hence your cornea has an abnormal curve and hence lasik surgery is not advisable for you

LASIK is best for people above age of 18 year if the refraction is stable. You need to get cornea examinations (pentacam) done before you decide anything.

You won't have any major defects. But 5% of the patients have night glare and haloes. Apart from that, every procedure has some complications, so does this one.

Rest and cost depends on what kind of laser surgery is being done to your dad who is above 45 years and what type of symptoms he is suffering from and is it something to do with retina.
