Yes,you are right.It can be controlled.You can do it by proper diet and regular exercise.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,sugar,sweetened juice,soft drinks,cola beverages.Drink lots of water specially before meals.Take plenty of fiber rich foods.Take whole fruits.Extra protein will help in this regard.No excess Oil.No underground vegetables,banana,pumpkin.Take stress free rest.You can use nutritional supplement to control blood sugar levels.These will help.

You should go for orthopaedic tests to assess d exact condition of your knees. Obeasity
(by 28 kg) may b one of d main reasons for pain in knee joint.
