There is no need to apply sunscreen etc. Change your food habits and life style and everything will be alright. Drink plenty of liquids daily . Avoid oily spicy and junk food items. Wash your face with ayurvedic soap two three times a day.
For few days you need to take Ayurved treatment to regulate your body.

Hi. Use curd, turmeric powder and chana flour (besan) on your face thrice a week for pimples take tab doxy twice a day upto 3 months, use salicylic acid face wash 3-4 times a day and apply clindamycin creme on pimples.

applying sunscreens for long terms is not advisable, it bocks ultraviolet rays and also close down your skin pores, using it at night is futile either way.

Gel based broad spectrum sunscreen is what you may want to use. They are non greasy and water resistant too. Always apply sunscreen atleast 15 mins before stepping out, and repeat sunscreen every 3 hourly. In addition covering the face as much as possible during the day by wearing sunglasses and cap would be a good idea.

There are various treatment for pigmentation. From creams containing hydroquinone to milder ones of Kojic acid, niacinamide, arbutin. There is options of glutathione injections to oral tablets with vitamin C, also laser toning also gives good results. Laser toning using Q switch Nd Yag laser is an option but results variable. You may need 6-8 sessions at 3 weeks gap and usually charged per sitting or as a package. Consult a dermatologist.
