Glucometers are of very good and superior quality today. No need to recheck again via a lab. Just ensure you use a good brand like one touch or accu check. Preferably use a device which can store readings also.

As per my knowledge this is a synthetic steroidal preperation and corticosteroid effects is to cause hyperglycemia .and you are already diabetic so without a proper consultation with your physician don't take it.

Dear lybrate-user ji
fasting 99 mg/dl aur pp 143 mg/dl can be normal depending upon a number of factors.
It is better to go for a hba1c to understand this. Also you need to let me know if your family has diabetes and if you have any other physical issues like poly cystic ovaries etc.
Things can be clearer if we can have a direct consult.
Thanks!

It will not good to say anything with this short description. Just consult with nearby general physician or diabetologist. Because he has the heartattack history and also on the insulin and tablets so do not withdraw medicine suddenly, medicinal withdraw should be gradual by decreasing quantity ,firstly consult with physician for this.

Your high sugar level does not confirm that you are diabetic .this is hyperglycemia, before taking any medicine you should go for hba1c test.

Are you taking medicine. If no then you need to start. If you r already taking then you need to adjust dose or start homeopathy. Along with medicines follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
U can take (moderate amount)
