You have to check your thyroid status to see if you have hyperthyroidism which can cause heat and weight loss etc. And drink lot of water daily till you do the blood test and see.

I would suggest that you consult your doctor for this. However, aloe vera has a neuro-protective action. It has an anti paralytic action for stroke. There is no evidence if honey can be used in stroke patients. Please be careful about what you give to your father. Best would be that you speak with your treating physician and take a way forward.
