For cavity problems, the toothpaste you mentioned will not reduce the risk of cavity problems
for not decaying if you have acute carious activity in your mouth. For that
1. If you do not have fluorosis then
3m clinpro 5000 1.1% toothpaste (its expensive than the other toothpaste available in the market)
or enafix toothpaste.
Reduces risk for cavity and make enamel strong
also
1. Correct brushing technique
2. Flossing daily
3. Use of mouthwash like chlorhexidin...more

Hiii. Good morning. May be the stains will be extrinsic and discolorations seen. Do scaling once and follow up a scaling after three months to maintain the oral hygiene. After that you can do scaling once a year or six months once. I advice flossing and interdental brushing after scaling. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
If you have one or two crooked teeth, it is most likely the result of overcrowding or a narrow palate. When your teeth do not have enough room, the nearby teeth will push them to the front or back of your smile. Other, less common reasons for misalignment: thumb sucking at a late age after a baby has started to teethe.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatme...more

I have got a hygiene clean and didn’t know she did a scaling and polishing on me. I regret going to that specific dentist and should have probably just used a better recommended mouthwash for the little tarter I had built up. She ruined my front bottom teeth because I had no gaps and the gum she cut it off because it was pointy and attached to my teeth in between but it’s all of a sudden and half the amount after I left the appointment. I’m so shocked and it’s kn two places that she did and one worse than the other. I’m 100 percent sure my gum was not was it receding in anyway. Please if you can explain what happened and what did and if my gum will grow or get better. It was done on monday and it’s been thee days I don’t see an improvement and I feel like it’s getting worse. Please help me and what I can do to fix this too.

Always remember
scaling and polishing will never create gaps in the teeth.
Scaling and polishing will never cut the gums.
There is a reason why
1. The instrument that is used to do scaling is a vibrating machine, it vibrates at 120000 rpm i.e speed and some even more. So a vibrating instrument will only vibrate the calculus which you call tartar, and thus the calculus get removed.
2. The instrument that is used to do scaling has no cutting surface, so in no way it can cut gum...more

Plaque is not removed regularly by tooth brushing and flossing, it hardens to create calculus (also known as tartar). Calculus cannot be removed with a toothbrush; only a dental professional can remove it during an oral cleaning.
There are certain mineral combos those are used for cleaning teeth effectively but can not clean to the extent of removing thick tartar or stone.

hello lybrate user...
I advice you to take gradually reduce the pan masala and tobacco..
I Suggest you to do scaling..
then brush twice a day..
use dental floss.
use mouth wash..

after scaling, the calculus and mild stains will be removed..
if the stains wasn't removed means, bleaching has to be done..
the sensitivity will go after scaling..

regarding tooth paste, you can use sensodent... or other related tooth pastes..

Hello Lybrate user. Scaling is safe. It does not cause any teeth to get mobile. Without scaling and increase in periodontal problem causes mobile teeth. Consult me for more details. Thank you.
