Best age to stop smoking is before 40 ,In fact do not start all
Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, chewing tobacco/ or drugs or drinking or using drugs/ weed, avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like NICORETTE and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew Nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally C...more

Dear,
sorry for the agony you are undergoing. You are legally married you can give birth to the child and simultaneously maintain contact with adoption centers and give the baby for adoption. You will not be doing any crime and also you will give good life to the baby. Many childless couples will be willing for adoption.
Truly,

Hello, smoking is one of the easiest & one of the most difficult habits to break because
1. Quitting cigarettes does not cause any immediate harm 2. Cigarettes are so easily available that one does succumbs into temptation of smoking just 1 more before stopping altogether.
Regarding your question, easy way is decide a quit date 1 week from now & reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke to half from today. Secondly, you can purchase nicotex/quitsure park & suck type nicotine chewing gums...more

I have been diagnosed a diabetic since Aug last year. I was married for 12-15 days only and got divorced 4 years back. Since taking on the diabetes medication which is very low due to my initial stage of detection. My libido has gone down even though my mental urge for sex self indulgence or masturbation is quite frequent. My diet also got restricted due to my health condition and I can't touch on many food items. I quit smoking after being diagnosed a diabetic. The risk of health complications gave me the will to quit. My smoking history goes back to 14-15 years wen I smoked 8-10 cigarettes a day but reduced to 1-3 in recent couple of years before quitting. I even drink occasionally. Once every two weeks during weekend get together. Main question: My main concern recently after medication started for diabetes is that my sperm ejaculation volume has gone down. If I masturbate once in a week then its fine. Even though subsequently my strong erections or arousal don't result in a similar ejaculation volume. At times after 2-3 erections in as many days lead to my ejaculation almost drying up. Is diabetes and the daily medication, even though mild, the root cause of this fall in sperm ejaculation volume. I forgot to add I am quite regular at 30 min brisk walk 5 days a week since being diagnosed a diabetic. I'm aware of exercises n healthy diet being key to a sound sexual health. I keep reading very often on the topic. Also will meditation with few yoga exercises help me. I stay with family and visiting a doc for any sexual treatment will raise a lot of questions as I'm still a bachelor and they are planning my marriage soon. Yes visiting a sexologist or a counselor with wife is fine n accepted everywhere. Kindly advice.

Thanks for the detailed case history.
Masturbating once in week is not a offense.
One of the complication of diabetes is, it reduces the sexual power, and even some times your stress level/ and history heavy smoking also matters with that. What you can do is get your sperm count tested in any lab, skip masturbations for minimum 3 days prior to the test. No need of hesitation regarding that, no need of prescription also, just tell them you want to do sperm count test. Then if anything wro...more

Deal with the pressure that you have mentioned with a counselor and it will make it easier. The habit can be very difficult to halt because of the many conditions attached to smoking. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary. The nicotine in...more

Sure. You have made an excellent decision and you must stick to it at all costs. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail...more

You must have been smoking for a long time and may have tried several times to quit it too. But you must keep trying until you succeed. This is the pattern with smoking: you fail and then you try again. One day you will succeed. You may feel that it is impossible to give up at your age or for having smoked so much. But that it not true. I know of so many people who have given up and were very high level smokers (even 40 cigarettes a day!). You can follow some of these instructions to help you th...more

Failure is a feature of this particular addiction but never give up. Everybody has gone through this again and again. It is therefore a wise decision to quit as early as possible and minimize the harm. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. But try and try again until you succeed. You have to quit cold turkey because the body and mind will torture you endlessly while attempting reduction in smoking. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check up to as...more
