Dear Bhargav,
That is a good attitude at this young age. Congrats. Please continue exercises since your ecg is okay. Palpitations and chest heaviness may not go away with exercise alone. Meditation and pranayama will help in controlling them.

Get re-assessed. It is important that a thorough re-assessment is done followed by medication plan is made. Also to be able to understand why you didn't respond to other medication. 5 years is long and you probably will need to have long term treatment where clonazepam (lonazep) will definitely not modify the disease. So clonazepam can only be a small part of the treatment and nothing beyond. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user, both anxiety disorder and irritable bowel can be managed non medically, if you are motivated to try continuously for months together. I don't know since how long you are taking these tablets. Most of the drowsiness tend to reduce in 2-3 weeks. Heart rate above 100 is well controlled by beta blocker. Now think whether you want the severity of 2020 or the drowsiness and palpitations. No pain no gain. Whether pain is more or gain is more. Try therapy, jacobson's deep muscle relax...more

Dear lybrate-user,
please consult a psychiatrist now. Your anxiety may be due to hormonal, medical, neurological causes. After proper diagnosis, the appropriate treatment will be prescribed. Apart from valium, there are other anxiolytic short acting tablets and non medical methods of managing anxiety.

I cannot understand your question properly but from what I understand is that you might be doing something like sit ups holding your breath. It's simply because your brain cannot survive without oxygen so it shuts down for sometime and you feel fainting. Extending your arms simultaneously increases this by narrowing and compressing the blood vessels going towards the brain. It could also be possible if you have some other disease which increases by doing this maneuver. Need proper evaluation and...more
