It depends upon how much residual squint you have at present. If it is significant, another surgery can be undertaken to correct it. However, squint surgery does not affect vision and for glass removal, you will have to undergo a separate surgery.

Agree to whatever your doctor has said. Luke any surgery, there are chances of complications. However the there is a remote chance of a resurgery. Obviously all this can be only assessed after a thorough examination. I would recommend you to undergo surgery, if your doctor deems right.
