Cerebral ischaemia or brain ischemia is a medical condition that restricts the flow of blood to the brain, resulting in an unmet metabolic demand. This leads to limited oxygen supply in the brain, which could result in death of brain tissues, cerebral infarction or an ischemic stroke. Thus, a cardiorespiratory arrest, a stroke, and irreversible brain damage are few possible consequences of cerebral ischaemia.

Other people talking is not yoru problem: you say that people's observation is that you speak loudly. It is definitely coming from your own hearing loss whereby you have not accurate feedback mechanism to know your volume and to make necessary corrections. Now that you know about this is it possible to speak in a volume that is less audible to you but that you know it is sufficient to the hearing level of the other people. With time and practice you will be able to master this technique.

Hello,
epilepsy management is a multi-disciplinary approach. A team of neurologists and neurosurgeons can assess if the condition is possible to cure via offering epilepsy surgery in select cases. Many cases can be controlled reasonably well with medications itself.

The midbrain functions as a relay system, transmitting information necessary for vision and hearing. It also plays an important role in motor movement, pain, and the sleep/wake cycle. The midbrain, also called the mesencephalon, is a part of the central nervous system.
Pons is a part of your brainstem, a structure that links your brain to your spinal cord. It handles unconscious processes and jobs, such as your sleep-wake cycle and breathing. It also contains several junction points for nerv...more

Good afternoon, first of all, seizure activity itself would cause great harm to the brain, hence the precipitating factor (here fever) needs to be controlled. N secondly, after frisium, the child may feel drowsy, it's a common side effect, she would get fine within 1-2 days.

Did she have a disease called epilepsy from before? If that is the case it happens because of discharge of uncontrolled impulses from the brain. It should be controlled with medicines and should not happen. She could also have a functional disorder or a psychiatric condition which causes these events with touching/kissing. Need proper evaluation. A psychiatric consultation may help.

Pl send reports if you have any/ also talk on phone by booking call. About 30 to 40 percent of epilepsy is caused by genetic predisposition. First-degree relatives of people with inherited epilepsy have a two- to four-fold increased risk for epilepsy. Diet and herb protocols may lower the frequency and intesity of fits and your doctor may reduce the medicine himself.
