Chemical peels too are not advised in sensitive skin. Subcision, microneedling are good options. One good option is combining these with Fat graft it not only elevates the scars it also rejuvnates the skin with growth factors. You can...more

With or without laser there is no guarantee that few pigmentation will not remain but I will suggest you to apply aloevera gel twice a day for six months over the lesion and follow up on completion

Hello Dr. I have ice pick scars and boxcar scars on my face like nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead and my skin is very sensitive, I am afraid of using creams and laser treatments. So instead of taking laser, fractional/fraxel laser, fractional co2, TCA chemical peeling, IPL treatment can I go for microneedling/dermapen or can I use dermaroller for ice pick scars and boxcar scars? Will needling and dermaroller helps in preventing scars? Will scars do completely disappear and do they produce new collagen and improve skin texture? And if I go with needling/derma roller what kind of cream do I need to apply after I use roller or needling? Will they have any side effects? If you advice me to go with needling/derma roller, suggest me best dermaroller? And please help me and suggest the best treatment process. Thank you.

The redness following the laser may last upto 3 months and usually subside. Microneedling Radiofrequency therapy is a good option for collagen induction. Only microneedling gives moderate ...more

I understand that you have been fairly alright with having varicose veins for the last 30 years. But body has a tolerance. If your scan is showing damage which requires it to be treated, it is better to undergo the procedure in order to avoid complications. Skin damage in Varicose veins is not completely reversible. Any procedure associated with Varicose veins has a 10-15% risk of recurrence. I am not sure as to who does laser varicose vein procedure at Kolkata.

If it is paining and swelling then it's definitely time for you to get treatment. Surgery costs approx 20-25000, but cost may vary between different centres. Laser treatment for varicose veins is the latest, but it's costly (approx 1 lakh)
