Dear lybrate-user, a chalazion is a slowly developing lump that forms due to blockage and swelling of an oil gland in the eyelid. A chalazion is generally not an infection. Usually it drains out within some days. If not try the following procedure:

Hi. Tongue tie release is a very short procedure which is performed under local anaesthesia, for kids General anaesthesia may be preferable. There is no such side effects and the chance of reattachment is near nil. Just who should keep proper oral hygiene. Do regular saline gargling post surgery.
