Dear User, I can understand. You are you. Whatever your behavior today, whatever your body language today are learned from your past experiences and social interactions. Whatever you have learned can be unlearned or over written. This is a continuous process happening throughout your life. In your present case I need to evaluate your behavior thoroughly before providing an answer. I suggest cognitive behavior therapy for you. Take care.

Then the medicine is not working, you need to consult your psychiatrist and change the medication/ reconsider the diagnosis. Also try to combine with cognitive behavioral therapy. All the best.

5 mg of nexito is just the starting dose and has to be gradually increased to bring about any improvement in symptoms. A combination of pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy gives the best results for social phobia and panic attacks. Meditation exercises, deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation are some of the non-pharmacological techniques which can help with anxiety disorders. Hope this helps.

Dear lybrate-user,
there are a lot of things that can help you out. Starting off please talk to your doctor about a more optimal dose for you. Enquire about behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. A quick google search should give you a number of workbooks that will focus on anxiety. Pick one and complete it. Start focusing on your lifestyle, exercise will help.
All the best and have a great life.
