Simply engage mind in better activities like reading, hearing nice talks or music and keeping mind busy in services. Eating vegetarian foods and fruits and drinking cow's milk in night before sleeping also helps.

2. See an ENT specialist to exclude other pathology of oral cavity like tonsillitis, till then:
Avoid: deep-fried food (samosa, pakoda, chips, idli), sour fruits (mosambi, oranges, green grapes, lemon, shrikhand), protect neck area while riding a bike, traveling in bus/car with open window panes, cold water, rice and milk at night. Smoking can cause significant health issues like lung cancer, respiratory illness and heart disease. Alcohol consumption can lead to liver failure, neuropathy and brain damage. Both of these are detrimental to good health; mental, physical and emotional. However, treatment is available to quit smoking and drinking. I did not understand article dysfunction. Smoking is certainly very bad and you need to stop it immediately. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad.
