I was suffering from anal fissure. I have consulted by doctor for apply oil oliment and moms plus suspension syrup. First he told to take for 10 days then after 10 days he told to continue it for 30 days and then stop applying the oliment. Now 30 days are over but when I not apply the ailment for 2 days I got itching in my anal hole. Is this a sign of fissure getting heal or any other thing?

I have had a lump in the anal region for 14 days. I have been taking the medicine calcium dobesilate these 14 days prescribed by a gastroenterologist who diagnosed me with external hemorrhoids. Recently, a colorectal/general surgeon diagnosed me with thrombosis external hemorrhoids and needs surgery. He also diagnosed internal hemorrhoids at 3, 7 and 11 o clock positions which he said won't need surgery. The external hemorrhoid is pea sized and doesn't hurt. However, I wanted to know: can thrombosis external hemorrhoids go away on their own with meds or do they always need surgery? I saw an article that says even in case of thrombosis haemorrhoids the lump remains present for up to a month and eventually gets reabsorbed by the body. Is that true?
