Hi lybrate-user, are those scars or spots? We need to differentiate between the two because acne scars requires methods like lasers, peels, microneedling etc, while spots can be treated by oral and topical medicines. It will take minimum a month for spots to lighten if you do proper treatment. You can take food items rich in vitamin c, that would help spots to lighten. Apply proper sunscreens daily. It would be best if you consult and share your pictures, so that we can guide you through the bes...more

Hello Ms. lybrate-user
none of these creams you mentioned seem to be having any steroid based compound or salt in it. But if you have sensitive skin do try any cosmetic item on part of your body before applying it fully.
I hope you will find this helpful
thanks.

Dear doctor, I would honestly appreciate so much if you would respond me and give me your opinion. Namely, i'm currently treating my acne with accutane, and my dermatologist advised me to check my hormones for the possible introduction of birth control pills, with isotretinoin. My results are fine, except my fsh which is 12 iu/l (3th day of menstrual cycle) and amh which is 7.12 pmol/l. Desperately researching all night long on the internet, I concluded that this means low fertility and the low possibility of natural conception. What worries me the most, is that I am only 21 years old, not planning a baby yet, having a regular menstrual cycle and do not suffering from any other disease, and not taking any medicine except accutane. Despite the fact that I am a medical student (3rd year) that should believe that for constantly improving medicine everything should be solvable, this is a kind of shock for me. And before visiting a gynecologist for 10 days, I would like to know if I have excessive reason to worry, from the professional as you. Thank you very much for investing your time, and greetings from croatia, from (i hope) a future colleague.

Hello Ms. lybrate-user.
I understand your concern very well. As you are not planning to conceive anywhere in the near future you can take isotretinoin for your acne. It's always best to follow up with a dermatologist and monitor your progress.
Usually, topical retinoic acid preparations are preferred in mild to moderate acne but as you have not mentioned the stage of your condition I will assume you have moderate acne and were prescribed oral isotretinoin. Please make sure that you start...more

You can. However treatment depends on the grade. Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne. So, please send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
