Using betnovate cream, that is potent steroid for long periods of time may result in skin damage, such as acne like bumps on skin, irritation, redness on sun exposure etc. You might need treatment according to the extent of skin damage. Its highly recommend that you consult a dermatologist for personalised advice. Do not indulge in home remedies or self medication especially when it concerns the face!

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh, not from readymade
gels available in market) on your face. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take/scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your face skin. Wash with plain water after an hour.

Hi lybrate-user,
depiwhite contains hydroquinone which is a potent skin lightening agent. However, when used for long periods of time it may cause abnormal pigmentation of skin, a condition called as exogenous ochronosis. If you have pigmentation problems for which your doctor might have prescribed you depiwhite, its a good idea to only use it for the recommended duration and switch to non hydroquinone containing skin lightening cream for maintenance therapy.
Hope this helps.

Its difficult to comment whether a specific product will suit your skin. However, it does contain depigmenting agents like kojic acid which may cause a bit of dryness and irritation. If it doesn't cause any such adverse effects on your skin, you can use it.

Apply mineral sunscreen after moisturizer (if you're going to wear chemical sunscreen, make sure to put sunscreen on before moisturizer) in general, you want to use separate sunscreen and moisturizing products. Wear sunscreen with spf 30 or higher over your moisturizer for adequate sun protection.

Hi, any medicated cream can be prescribed only for a few weeks. For long-term use, prefer a routine of moisturizer (dermadew aloe lotion) and sunscreen (faceguard) during the day.

If you have noticed that your skin is getting darker while using melacare cream, it is a good idea to stop using it and consider switching to a different product.
As for a recommendation for a new cream, it is difficult for me to make a specific suggestion without more information about your skin type and any specific concerns you may have. In general, it is important to choose a product that is appropriate for your skin type (in this case, oily) and that addresses any specific concerns you ...more
