I you wish to stop steroid after 2 days of use you can without tapering it. Usually when given on a longer duration steroids' require tapering. It is always advisable to follow your consulting doctor and complete to course so that you do not any issues with your skin condition.

First of all, try to avoid going out in the sun. When you go out, wear full armed cotton garments and use an umbrella to avoid direct exposure to sun.
