Beauty is something which is a lot more than just skin deep. However, that really does not mean that adequate care is not taken for a person’s skin. So what does that mean when it comes to what a person has to do?

Quite a few things, as a matter of fact!

  • To start with, a person who is interested in making sure that his or her skin is clear should focus on making sure that the diet he or she is following does everything that is beneficial for the skin.
  • There are quite a few foods which do go a pretty long way in making sure that the skin stays healthy. Foods which are rich in Vitamin C are good to have in order to be able to achieve this purpose.
  • When a person eats, he or she should make an effort to maximise the diversity on his or her plate. This can take the form of a range of vegetables or fruits. Ingrown hair refers to a situation in which a part of the body hair which has been trimmed, shaved or tweezed grows back into the skin in a curled form. This sometimes causes painful and discomforting skin conditions such as swelling, bump formation and chronic pain in the area from where the hair was removed.

This condition is mostly common among people who have very tightly curled hair on their entire bodies. Among men, the most affected areas are cheeks, chin and neck. Additionally, they can also appear in cases of men who regularly shave their head. In case of women, ingrown hairs in common in areas like armpits, pubic region and legs. The most common signs of this condition are enlisted below.
1. Small skin bumps (papules)
2. Small, pus-filled, blister-like lesions (pustules)
3. Hyperpigmentation (skin darkening)
4. Long lasting and chronic pain
5. Itching

Causes
Ingrown hair might also occur if you do the following activities:

1. Pulling your skin while shaving your body hair can give rise to ingrown hair. This, in turn, allows the shaved hair particles to penetrate back into the skin without growing outwards.
2. Tweezing of hair can also lead to the hair particles to grow inwards instead of growing outwards

Dermal or skin fillers are natural or synthetic substances that are used to make a particular area on the face look plump, in other words, 'fill' the skin produce younger-looking, firmer, plumper skin. Usually used as injections, they plump up the skin just enough to make the wrinkle or the fine lines disappear. While Botox is also used as an injection, its intended use and area of use is different from fillers. Botox is most often used in the outer corners of the eyes and around the forehead.

Fillers are used in other areas mentioned below:

Synthetic ones, on the other hand, contain collagen or other similar chemicals but can produce more long-lasting results. They can be semi-permanent or permanent.

What Type Of Damage Can Sun Do To Your Skin?

While the sun is necessary for our skin and overall health, excessive exposure often results in many skin problems. Age spots, which are actually sunspots, blemishes, pigmentation and sunburns are just a few of the sun related damages that your skin may have to face.

Sunscreen is your best friend outdoors

Sunscreen should be worn at all times whenever you go outdoors. Also if you plan to be outdoors for too long, then reapply sunscreen from time to time as you may need to replenish the protection for your skin. A sunscreen with a SPF count of 30 or above is usually preferred; however, this should completely be determined by the type of skin.

What type of damage can sun do to your skin?

Visible sun related damage to your skin could be any or all of the following:

  1. Skin which is patchy
  2. Dark spots
  3. Uneven skin tone
  4. Age spots

These are primarily manifestations of deep rooted sun related damage caused by one of the following:

  1. Superficial pigmentation: This is a pigmentation problem, which is mostly caused close to the uppermost layer of your skin i.e. the epidermis. This usually ends showing up as age spots and freckles.
  2. Deep hyper-pigmentation: As opposed to superficial pigmentation, deeper pigmentation problems occur when age related damage is the cause and there has been prolonged sun exposure. This requires more detailed treatment and thus topical products such as peels may not be as effective as the damage has been at a deeper layer of the skin.
  3. Brown patches or melasma: Often called the mask of pregnancy as it commonly afflicts expectant women, it may occur in other cases due to hormonal problems as well. It appears as darker patches on your skin within the bridge of the nose, cheeks and forehead. Sun damage aggravates this problem multi fold and thus can make a slight or small problem much worse.

Treatments against sun damage

As mentioned earlier, the best way to reverse sun damage is to use the correct SPF for your skin. A single SPF rating isn’t correct for everyone and it is best to consult a dermatologist to determine what rating would be correct for you. However, some of the other modern treatments you can rely on to reverse and prevent sun damage could be:

  1. Peels that give instant clarity by reducing pigmentation
  2. Reducing complexes such as certain liquid applicants that lessen topical pigmentation
  3. Skin rejuvenating Lasers that provide instant clarity with Laser action
  4. PRP or platelet rich plasma that is derived from the cells of your own body and then used as a serum to be injected into the skin to heighten its self- healing powers.

Sensitive skin can make life miserable. Factors such as environmental and climatic changes, certain beauty products and medications can affect individuals with sensitive skin. There may be skin inflammation, irritation, rashes, redness, dryness and flakiness. The extent of the sensitive reaction can vary from one individual to another. In many cases, it has been observed that sensitive skin appears to be thinner than normal skin. Thus, people with such delicate skin type need to be extra careful. Do not try self-medication. It will make things worse. Always seek expert advice. A specialist knows what is best for your skin. 
     
People with sensitive skin need to follow some basic skin care regimes

* It is very important to keep a sensitive skin hydrated and moisturised all the time. A dehydrated skin not only appears tighter but also results in extreme skin dryness and irritation. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily. It is very important to flush out the toxins and maintain alkaline skin pH. Avoid taking very hot water or ice baths. The extreme temperatures will do your skin more harm than good. A warm water bath is an excellent option. Apply generous amounts of moisturiser, whenever your skin feels dry and itchy.

* It is best to avoid products that are harsh on your skin. Consult a dermatologist before using products containing alpha hydroxy acids. These are strong acids and their application can lead to skin irritation and rashes. It is a healthy practice to keep your skin clean. However, not all soaps are suitable for sensitive skin. Soaps (strong alkali) are a big no. It is best to use a medicated soap, specially formulated for sensitive skin. To cleanse your face, use a mild (soap free) face wash or a cleanser.

* For people with sensitive skin, it is best not to experiment with the skin care products. Play it safe, stick to the brands you have been using for long. Certain beauty products are strongly fragranced. These can trigger severe skin and allergic reactions. Lanolin, artificial mineral oil and alcohol-containing products are no better. It is best to use natural and herbal skin care products.

* Do not use cosmetics and beauty products beyond a certain period of time. Face powders, silicone based foundations, sunscreen (titanium oxide or zinc oxide based) are best for sensitive skin. These products are known to be less harsh and thus have little or no side effects.

* Before using any products, know the ingredients and chemicals that go into its manufacture.

रातभर के लिए बादाम को पानी में डालकर एब्सोर्ब करने के लिए रख दें. अगली सुबह बादाम को मिक्सर में मिक्स कर लें और एक नरम पेस्ट तैयार कर लें. अगर पेस्ट नरम नहीं हो रहा है तो इसके साथ थोड़ा दूध भी मिला सकते हैं. अब अन्य बची सामग्रीयों को बादाम के पेस्ट में मिला दें. पेस्ट को अच्छे से मिलाने के बाद इसे अपनी स्किन के प्रभावित साईट पर लगाएं. फिर इसे रातभर के लिए त्वचा पर ऐसे ही लगा हुआ छोड़ दें. सुबह में त्वचा को ठंडे पानी से धो लें. हर रात, सोने से पहले इसे दो हफ्ते तक अपनी त्वचा पर लगाएं. दो हफ्ते के बाद इलाज को थोड़ा कम कर दें. फिर इसे आप हफ्ते में दो बार लगा सकते हैं.

लाल प्याज का उपयोग-
प्याज को सबसे पहलें काट कर अलग कर लें. अब इन टुकड़ों को हाथों में लें और फिर उसे प्रभावित हिस्सों पर लगाएं. इसे दस मिनट तक ऐसे ही लगा हुआ रहने दें और फिर अपनी त्वचा को गुनगुने पानी से धो लें. इसके आलावा, आप प्याज को मिक्स करके निचोड़ लें और जूस को अपने प्रभावित हिस्सों पर लगाए. जब तक आपको परिणाम न दिख जाए तब तक पूरे दिन में दो बार इसे ज़रूर लगाएं. प्याज विटामिन सी का सबसे अच्छा स्त्रोत है. इसमें मौजूद एंटीऑक्सीडेंट के गुण काला दाग का इलाज करने में मदद करते हैं.

उपयोग करें आवश्यक तेलों का-
जैतून का तेल, नारियल का तेल, अरंडी का तेल, नीम का तेल या जोजोबा तेल बहुत लाभकारी होता है. इसके अलावा आप इन तेलों को एक साथ मिक्स कर के भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. इसे लगाने के पहलें अपनी स्किन को साफ़ कर लें और तौलिये से अच्छे से साफ कर लें. अपनी पसंद के तेल से आप अपनी त्वचा पर मसाज करें. कुछ मिनट मसाज करने के बाद आधे घंटे तक इसे ऐसे ही लगा हुआ रहने दें. अब अपनी त्वचा को क्लीन्ज़र से धो लें. इन तेल का उपयोग पूरे दिन में एक बार ज़रूर करें.

काले दाग का इलाज है एलो वेरा-
शहद और एलोवेरा जेल को उचित मात्रा में मिला लें. अब इस मिश्रण को 10 मिनट तक के लिए ऐसे ही छोड़ दें. दस मिनट के बाद अपनी स्किन पर मिश्रण को लगाएं. इसके बाद 20 मिनट तक लगा हुआ छोड़ दें. अब अपनी स्किन को गुनगुने पानी से साफ़ कर लें. इस मिश्रण को दो हफ्ते के लिए पूरे दिन में एक बार ज़रूर लगाएं. त्वचा के प्राकृतिक PH लेवल और तेल के लेवल को छेड़े बिना एलोवेरा को त्वचा को साफ़ करने के लिए जाना जाता है. ये ब्लैक स्पॉट को दूर करता है साथ ही सन लाइट से भी बचाता है.

काला दाग मिटाने के लिए उपयोग करें केला-
