Hello. Definitely it can be removed. However the mode of removal has to be decided on the size, position and the depth of the tattoo, for which I would like you to get it examined first. It can be removed by either, Excision or laser therapy etc, all which has their own pros and cons. These you can discuss accordingly.

Where is the cancer?
Squamous cell carcinoma can be of the oral cavity, laryngopharynx, lung, esophagus, anal canal and rarely of salivary glands and breast.
The treatment depends upon the site and the stage.
