Dear Ms. lybrate-user
greetings!
the mucous formation is normal, especially it helps us to keep the nasal mucosa wet and also helps us in a number of ways. But living in bangalore and that too if you are prone to pollution, it can be causing some congestion, etc. I can guide you on how to control it and also help you to treat any nasal allergies as well with you.
Since I need to understand your condition better, you are advised to come on a private consult with me.

The true etiology of antrochoanal polyps is unknown but a case series review of 200 antrochoanal polyps found that the only significant risk factor is an anatomic anomaly. The most common abnormalities, as noted by the authors, were nasal septal deviation, inferior turbinate hypertrophy and concha bullosa.

Dear lybrate-user, relax.as far as chronic sinus problems are concerned medicines have little to no role to play. You must explore surgical option as in fess (functional endoscopic sinus surgery. That done and your eye cheek pressure would get resolved, so please consult a good ent specialist for a thorough sino-nasal evaluation.

Dear lybrate-user, relax.you are unnecessarily giving diagnosis instead of giving a proper history. Please get a proper sino-nasal examination done. Furthermore monteleukast alone will not solve your problem nor will taking only salbutamol. At your age tonsil is out of the question as it affects only children. You may feel free to consult me or any other ent specialist .
