Hi, burping occasionally is normal unless it becomes a distress and causes difficulty in daily activities. It usually is the gas that you inhaled while eating that comes out after completion of the meal. Avoid overeating and talking while eating. Take small and frequent meals every 3-4 hrs. Consult a gastroenterologist to get yourself fully examined for the typhoid and treatment will be started accordingly. Typhoid can only spread in environments where human feces are able to come into contact with food or drinking water. Careful food preparation and washing of hands are crucial to prevent typhoid. Typhoid is treated by antibiotics and oral rehydration therapy.
