1- It's obvious answer is no. There is not automatic repair.
2- Surgery is must, it's called ACL reconstruction/ repair. It's good to do early from a good surgeon. 3- If you delay the load will be borne by other structures of knee & they might get damaged.
4- Afterwards rehabilitation program: few set of therapy (exercise+ other modalities).
5- Back to work.
