For past 20 day I am having yellow discharge from ear. I was put on antibacterial tab augmentin suspecting bacterial infection. But my culture report taken yesterday showed fungal infection. What shd you do now. Any change in medication required.

Hi I got about 3 or 2 questions to ask you I am 15 years old I am really worried I got my ears cleaned just the other day, so my ears would find some sound a bit louder and clearer right? I was at a funeral just yesterday, and the drums were very loud. My ears felt a little tired after I left but they got better, in the evening I felt a little sign of sensitivity when I turned my tablet's volume up, but that doesn't usually hurt me, I decided to go sleep when I woke I could feel that my ears was getting sensitive like if someone slams a door it would just be too loud. The next day I woke up I thought everything would get better. But I was washing the dishes and when the glass plates would knock each other, it seemed just too loud. I can tell that my ears has gotten sensitive but I just want to know if this might be temporary. Because of the loud exposure or will I have to deal with this for a time.

I got ear infection. I feel like blockage in one ear. Water in ear. Also could not hear like first. When I tried to clean it, I saw yellow coloured sticky discharge from one ear. And from yesterday used headphone so much as of lockdown. And also sometime headphone pin in ear. So may be it is caused. I am not using headphone now at all and also preventing water going inside ear while washing face. It is still painful sometime. It count bear air of fan. Still feeling blockage. What should I do. Please guide.

You have not mentioned the duration of ear discharge. If it's active you may take allegra for one month along with ear drop avoid water in ear, keep precautions so as to avoid cold.

Are you on catheter or you r referring to urethra. If on catheter you need to change it and sister will teach you catheter care. Full antibiotic course according to urine culture.
If your urethra or meatus is inflamed you need to do urine test, ultrasound abdomen and pelvis and urine culture test. Visit any urologist with test.
