Hello Sir, I recently had some blood tests and among other things they revealed low white blood cell count. It was 3,4 k/μl with all populations equally affected expect monocyte which percentage were higher than normal range. I read that total white blood cell count was low for me but not too low. I would like to ask if this instead of an immune deficiency could signal absence of systemic inflammation and low total microbiological burden in the body, given that I eat well and use omega 3 supplements from fish oil and hemp seed oil in quite big quantities for years as well as I consume many herbs, garlic and oregano essential oil in big quantities which are the strongest natural antimicrobials with broad action. Omega 3s as far as I know are the strongest anti inflammatory nutrient available and all anti inflammatory agents produced endogenously are omega 3 metabolites. So could this be interpreted as I good thing on this basis or a small immune deficiency for any reason is a more logical interpretation? When you do not have much pathogens to eliminate or any open inflammation in the body why should you have equal white blood cell counts at a given moment?
