Diet in second trimester should be healthy, home made food preferably, not very spicy/ fried/oily, protein rich (pulses, daals, eggs, fish, sprouts). Include all seasonal fruits except raw papaya/ pineapple, take dry fruits like 1/2 almonds, preferably soaked, 1/2 walnuts, figs, black raisins, it gives you iron & calcium required for pregnancy. Eat small frequent meals, every 2/3 hrly which reduces discomfort/ nausea after meals.

Yes, you can have sex with your pregnant wife if she is comfortable doing it. During all the stages of pregnancy, it is absolutely safe to have sex. Your doctor may advice you to avoid sex for the first three months of pregnancy if a woman has history of miscarriages. Your baby is well protected inside the womb and is not harmed by sexual intercourse.
