It's same. Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne. Hello. Oral medication (like terbinafine / itraconazole) is advised only in severe or long standing cases of seborrheic dermatitis (though not helpful). Depending upon the severity of s.d you can use ketoconazol/ zinc / cyclopirox/ salicylic acid shampoo, alone or combination. Biotin, multivitamin, minerals are essential for hair growth, you can take if there is ny deficiency .visit nearest dermatolgist. Thanks.
