The sciatic nerve spreads down the spine till the legs. The pain in this nerve can feel like sparks running down your back of leg from buttock area. Sciatica pain arises due to compression or injury to the sciatic nerve, which is the single largest nerve in our body. It consists of individual nerve roots, which branching out from the lower back (spine) to the back side of each leg. 1. Lie on your back.
2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee.
3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder.
4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds.
5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg.

Exercise helps a lot for sciatica. Exercises to be done while lying down. Avoid sitting for longer time at one place. Do stretching exercises, releaving compression from nerve is must. Yes it can be solved by yoga and physiotherapy depending on cause.

Hi,
Take tab. Mahavatavidhwamsa Ras 1tab. 2 times a day and apply Pinda Taila to the left and massage for 5-10mins and later five got water fomentation.
