I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Common causes of scars include injury, surgery, and infection. As scar tissue begins to form, it may appear red, raised, and hard, but over time it fades, flattens, and softens. Depending on the type of injury, the depth of the wound, and the person's skin type, this process takes months.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Scars are one of those marks that are impossible to remove from your body and can become a part of your life and appearance for the longest time. While there is no way to really completely remove scars, you can prevent their severity by taking care of your wound after an injury or accident.

Depressed scars can be improved by removing the scar surgically – usually in the office. Skin fillers can also be used to improve most depressed scars in an easy, immediate, and quick way. Advanced lasers or dermabrasion can also be used to treat skin areas with depressed scars, such as in acne scarring cases.

There are a lot of treatment options for scars available as of today. The treatment depends on the duration of scar and facilities available. The advance treatment option includes fractional co2 lasers in multiple sessions. Topical medications may be of little use and will supplement laser treatment. Other treatment option include dermaroller.

The laser removes the damaged top layer of skin and tightens the middle layer, leaving skin smoother. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. The doctor will try to lessen any pain by first numbing the skin with local anesthesia. It usually takes between 3 and 10 days for the skin to heal completely.

You may feel bumps and lumps under the skin. This is normal and is due to the dissolvable sutures under the surface. They will go away with time. Occasionally a red bump or pustule forms along the suture line when a buried stitch works its way to the surface. This is only temporary, and applying a warm compress to the spot usually helps it resolve. If it does not resolve, or you have questions, please consult with me.
