Hydroquinone itself causes skin pigmentation if used over the counter for prolonged time. That's why it is wise to consult dermatologist before you apply anything on skin. Now that the damage is done. Give a break. U can use good sunscreen and moisturizer alone for 1 month. Then gradually add safe depigmenting creams.

During the late teen years the tone the face skin got darker in the winter months only. After winter it starts to recover to natural colour. Gradually it turns dark even in a mild cold. But now a days it got more darken in cold times and it does not recover to natural color of skin or recover a minute scale. So year after year it get darker. To treat it as recommend by a dermatologist I used melalite xl for 2 months. During this time it got recover to it's original. So I stop it from using this bed time cream. After some time it starts to darken again. What should I use now. Please tell me.
