Dear lybrate-user,
you should take anti fungal treatment after a proper consultation from a dermatologist. Treatment may continue for 3-4 months. Regular follow up is required and medicines are changed according to the improvement. It is difficult to comment on medicines without examining.
Thanks and regards.

I saw one of your reply for which the question was: hi, I am having a ringworm in groin area, a doc suggested me to use clobetasol. It worked but when I stop applying it, the red marks starts appearing again. It is increasing the area also, now extended to thighs and butts too. Can you please suggest whom to consult. Please recommend good doc. I am facing the exact same situation and used clobetasol. I am studying in chennai and it is too humid here. This has started in july. Right now the groin area and butt is totally covered with blackpurple/dry skin white/red. Black blue colour is usual. While itchiness the area is usually red or whitish. And I have noticed the redness is usually after applying water or some ointment. I came to know the treatment I was using was wrong just yesterday. And there is a cyclone going on right now. I can not go to a doc. Please help me. I can't take it anymore.

Hello. I went through your query.
Keep the infected area clean and dry. Don't scratch the affected areas because this could spread the infection to other parts of your body
ringworm usually disappear with allopathic creams but recurr after you stop using it. So I advise you to take homeopathic treatment which cure ringworm completely & permanently. No chance of recurrence. 100% cure. You can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

Hi,
understand your concern. Shingles/chicken pox are contagious. However, the zoster virus is contagious only in its active stage. It is non- contagious in dormant stage. Almost every person carries it whoever is infected in their life time. It stays dormant and reactivates at times. Thats the time when it is contagious. Else do not worry, it doesnot harm in anyway.
Hope this is clear. For further details, please connect online/in-person.
