If tubes are patent, I don't recommend PCR. Usually PCR is done to detect pelvic tuberculosis in blocked tube. Again, PCR test has many fallacies, it may be wrongly positive when you don't actually have TB. So, in my opinion, there is no need for PCR unless you are having very scanty menstrual flow.

A viral load test measures how much human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is in the blood. The results can take up to 2 weeks. The normal values listed here-called a reference range-are just a guide. These ranges vary from lab to lab and depend upon which testing method is used (RT-PCR, bDNA, NASBA)
It measures the number of HIV virus particles in a milliliter of your blood. Those particles are also known as “copies.” A low viral load is a sign of the virus copying itself in low amounts in the ...more

An immune response to the virus (antibodies/ab).
Genetic material from the virus (hiv rna or dna).
Antigen only (p24 tests). These are rarely used.
Antibody only tests (ab). These are rarely used because of the more recent availability of joint ag/ab tests.
Combined antibody-antigen tests. These are the most commonly recommended ...more

The most common HIV test is the antibody screening test (immunoassay)
The soonest an antibody test will detect infection is 3 weeks. Most (approximately 97%), but not all, people will develop detectable antibodies within 3 to 12 weeks (21 to 84 days) of infection.

If the SPO2 reading drops below 95% when checked between an interval of 5 minutes, then he will require urgent attention. But since he was discharged at 97% SPO2 there is nothing to worry about. The readings can be checked on both hands using the Pulse oximeter. Fluctuations will occur but you can see the average reading and that will help you decide if they require urgent care or not. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a like/ thanks. Thank you.
