Rheumatoid arthritis is very well controllable. Unfortunately we don't have a complete cure. However if we don't take proper treatment, joint continues to get damages with excessive pain. I am not sure who your mother is seeing. Your treating rheumatologist can answer your question better. Stem cell therapy like PRP works in early cases of osteoarthritis and tendinopathy.
It does not work in advanced osteoarhrtitis and rheumatoid arthritis. As there is bony degeneration and destruction, here only intrarticular depopred can give relief.
Also in RA, biologics and other medications provide relief. Along with knee exercises.

Your wysolone tablets are causing your sugar to rise. Adjustment of dose of wysolone should solve this issue. Your medicines for rheumatoid arthritis is right but it is good to be managed by a rheumatologist for this as he specialises in management of rheumatoid arthritis. You need not to wear mask if you are on short term course of wysolone. Long term use of wysolone is high doses can cause immunosupression which might necessicitate you of mask.
