Yes homoeopathy can be very helpful in checking the progress of the disease... but for the best result it is very necessary that the medicine is based on all the details... i will suggest you for detailed consultation to your known homoeopath or take one from lybrate.

After the operation, your eyelids may feel itchy and sticky, and some fluid may leak from your eye. There may be some bruising around the eye. These symptoms are perfectly normal and any discomfort should go away after a couple of days. Let's connect over a call for a detailed consultation.
Thanks.

You should adopt the following precautions after retinal surgery:
(1) positioning of the face: if oil/ gas has been implanted into the eye, you would require strict head down/ face down positioning (prone positioning) for as many hours a day as possible.
(2) putting drops regularly as advised by the retina specialist.
(3) avoid over head bath/ soap application on the face and head for at least 15 days after the surgery.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
About 80% to 90% of retina procedures are successful, but you might need to have more than one. It may take several months for your vision to return. Some people don't get all of their vision back, especially in more severe cases. A detached retina won't heal on its own.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

It does not affect directly.
But many patients have reported bad effects of it on general health..
So better avoid or minimise it.

Dear Lybrate user:-
Buckling & laser treatment to treat the retinal detachment is routine procedure. This procedure is mandatory also. U should send previous prescription image, to confirm accurate diagnosis & extents of retinopathy. Excessive pressure created by buckling may cause pain & necrosis of the underlying tissues. Make urgent private consultation with me for further clarification of your eye problems.

A cataract surgery is performed to remove the lens of the eye and replace it with an artificial one. The surgery is undertaken to cure cataract, which makes the lens of the eyes cloudy, making it difficult to see. The surgery is not considered to be a major one and is performed on an outpatient basis, meaning that the patient can go home the very same day without having to spend the night at the hospital. The procedure is very normal and is undertaken when cataract starts to affect the day-to-da...more
