Usually following any surgery a patient needs about 10 to 15 days to recover. As regards the cost it depends on the type of procedure, surgeon and the hospital that one is going. Because in government hospitals cost will be much less. Difficult to give a figure. Which surgery will be decided by the surgeon, based on the specific situation. Call on any good surgeon he should be able to do that.

Hopefully a partial Nephrectomy has been done saving the rest of the kidney.
This report suggests you have a low risk less aggressive tumor although Lymphovascular invasion may signify some nodal Mets.
Just keep a good follow up every 6 months with USG abdo pelvis for the next 3 years

For treating diabetes pancreas transplant is considered to be a permanent cure. But the this is one of the very difficult procedures, not yet very commonly done. Secondly availability of live pancreas is the most difficult problem. It still a very experimental procedure, may take years to become a reality.
