Hello. The corns are difficult to treat and even more to prevent recurrence, At our center we do take care to solve both this issue. The corns, once they grow into the subcutaneous layer, then the corn caps or acid based creams are of no use. The excision will give you a complete relief of the acute symptoms. Further recurrence prevention will be guided to you accordingly. U can get in touch with me online for knowing any more details.

A corn is a tough thickening of the outermost layer of the skin that is frequently subjected to friction, like the skins of our soles or palms. The area could have single or multiple corns. Anyone whose skin is repeatedly exposed to friction and pressure is vulnerable to corns.

Hello. The corns occur in the feet due to various reasons. Identification of the cause helps in resolving it most of the times. Just excising the corn will not prevent its recurrence, Few post op precautions, care and lifestyle changes will be required. Thats what we guide our patients at our center, and hardly we see any recurrent corns. Consult a podiatrist near you to know more and get the best guidance, or you can contact me for the same.

Hello. If the corn is only superficial and asymptomatic then definitely you can use this above said treatment. But if the corn is deep, causing pain and you seek for a permanent result then the excision of the corn and footwear management by a podiatrist is a must. This will avoid the further recurrence of the problem.

Hello Homoeopathy will relieve your pain and the callus too. Kindly consult a homoeopathic doctor near you as there are plenty of medicines available in homoeopathy for callus and corns and hence, your case need to be examined. You should avoid wearing footwear that has flat base. Callus are commonly formed on soles on the pressure points. You can also apply onion juice, apple cider vinegar or castor oil on the affected region and let them stay overnight. It will soften the callus.
