After complete treatment for rectal cancer, patient should follow up with cancer surgeon every 3 monthly for first 2 years, then 6 monthly for next 3 years, then yearly thereafter. At every visit patient should get CEA and ultasonography done.
Other than this if patient has persistent pain while passing motion, difficulty in passing motion or if there is blood in stools, then the patient needs to show to a surgical oncologist immediately.

Heavy rectal bleeding may not be life threatening immediately but if it continues then you will become anemic overtime. You may be having piles and pls consult your surgeon.

Take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water. And take pranacharya pilescure capsule 1-1 twice a day. And abhayarishta 2-2 tsf twice a day. Apply pranacharya pilescure ointment on piles. If stomach is not clear them take virechan churna 1 tsf in warm water before night. Take fresh buttermilk early morning. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea. Coffee. Take slitz bath.

b) Kidney function
c) Blood Clotting d) Magnetic resonance elastography
